Mapping Resource Hyperlinking Action

I am new to Netbeans, converting over from Intellij IDEA, and would like to configure Netbeans so I can use the mouse middle click button instead of the CTRL + click used for resource hyperlinking.  Is there a way to map the CTRL + click to a mouse middle click?  Also if anyone has tips for someone making the transition from IDEA to Netbeans they would be greatly appreciated.
