http://mapguide.osgeo.org/download/relatedlinks Autodesk MapGuide Studio 2009 beta offers Fusion support whereas the older versions will support only the standard web layouts. MapStudio Open Source supports both, with somewhat less Fusion editing capability. Andy Morsell, P.E. Subject: [mapguide-users] MapGuide Open Source 2.0.0 released We are pleased to announce that the MapGuide Open Source project team has released MapGuide Open Source 2.0.0. Release notes: http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/Release/2.0/Notes. Documentation: http://mapguide.osgeo.org/documentation.html Downloads: http://mapguide.osgeo.org/download Among the many enhancements, the main feature in this release is the integration of Fusion; a flexible, extensible templating system that provides the ability to separate application presentation from its functional components. We have also replaced the use of FastCGI with the more proven ISAPI and Apache mod technologies. RE: RE: [mapguide-announce] MapGuide OpenSource2.0.0releasedSorry I didn't reply to this (and to anyone else I may have ignored over
the last month). My CheckPoint firewall has been blocking emails that originated from Nabble. That particular problem was on the server side, and was resolved that weekend. Re: postgis with sudio 2009Do you mean that you have no FDO PostGIS provider in your "Providers
list" inside Studio? If so, you must update the file "providers.xml" in the folder "C:\program files\mapguideopensource\server\bin\FDO". After updating the file, you must restart both the MapGuide server, as well as Studio. RE: postgis with sudio 2009Hi Andre,
That version does not work with MGOS 2.0 (I think). You'll want to grab the windows SDK from here as well as the supplemental file, and either replace the MGOS 3.0 FDO directory with their contents, or just copy over the PostGIS provider files. http://fdo.osgeo.org/content/fdo-330-downloads I would highly recommend MGOS 2.0.1 over 2.0. If you're running that, you'll want the FDO 3.3.1 downloads: http://fdo.osgeo.org/content/fdo-331-downloads Jason -----Original Message----- From: Andre Schoonbee Subject: [mapguide-users] postgis with sudio 2009 I installed version MGOS 2.0 , Autodesk Studio 2009 as well as fdopostgis 323_alpha_3317a. RE: RE: [mapguide-announce] MapGuide Open Source 2.0.0releasedHi Jason Any pointers on how to implement PNG8 or JPG for AJAX? Also, can non-tiled maps be rendered like this too? My problem is a very very slow application: http://maps.nnpa.org.uk:443/ I'm guessing that reducing the file size of the rasters will speed things up a great deal. Thanks Tom |

Re: [mapguide-announce] MapGuide Open Source 2.0.0releasedAround line 1666 you will find: function RequestMapImage(reqId) { url = webAgent + "?OPERATION=GETDYNAMICMAPOVERLAYIMAGE&FORMAT=PNG&VERSION=1.0.0&SESSION=" + sessionId + "&MAPNAME=" + encodeComponent(mapName) + "&SEQ=" + Math.random() document.getElementById("overlay").innerHTML = '<img class="mapImage" name="' + reqId + '" id="mapImage" src="' + url + '" width=' + mapDevW + ' height=' + mapDevH + ' border=0 vspace=0 hspace=0 style="visibility: hidden; width: ' + mapDevW + 'px; height: ' + mapDevH + 'px;" onload="return OnMapOverlayImageLoaded(event)">'; } Modify the "FORMAT=PNG" part to your liking. If you need multiple formats, you could introduce a variable that the application sets.
