Mantis (bugtracker) upgrade...We had held off upgrading mantis, the bugtracking software used for the
gramps project, as there were issues with the php version provided by our hosting service. As the hosting service has upgraded a few weeks back, I have now installed the latest version of mantis, 1.2.0a1 (it is, in fact, a development version but has been out there since April) Best description of features and changes is probably: http://www.mantisbt.org/blog/?p=19 I'd appreciate it if, when working with it, you will let me and/or the list know of any problems. I have *reasonable* confidence in it to give us what we want and need, but if necessary, we can always fall back to what we had prior to 10 minutes ago - but the sooner we do that if we have to, the better. I sure hope it all works OK for you guys! Re: Mantis (bugtracker) upgrade...Nick,
Looks good, but I can't do some basic things. All of the main links across the top (Main, My View, View Issues, etc) are all missing the main part of the URL (ie, "http://bugs.gramps-project.org/") I'm not sure if it is because I was logged in, but I can't log out! Let me know if you need more info, or if it is just me. -Doug > We had held off upgrading mantis, the bugtracking software used for the > gramps project, as there were issues with the php version provided by > our hosting service. > > As the hosting service has upgraded a few weeks back, I have now > installed the latest version of mantis, 1.2.0a1 (it is, in fact, a > development version but has been out there since April) > > Best description of features and changes is probably: > > http://www.mantisbt.org/blog/?p=19 > > I'd appreciate it if, when working with it, you will let me and/or the > list know of any problems. Re: Mantis (bugtracker) upgrade...Nick,
Some attachments seem to have gone missing during the upgrade. See http://www.gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=1492 and the comment by Jerome. Have others noticed this too? I can logout ok and the links work for me ok too.
