Mailing list activity & protocols? As a new user here, I am wondering if these mailing lists are
monitored by the developers, or if anyone is available to help
out new users?
The other mailing lists I subscribe to seem to be a bit busier,
and I was wondering what the "turn around" time here is?
I would really like to use Pebble, as it seems to match my needs
very closely, but if some of the basics do not work "out of the
box" then maybe it is too fragile for what is required.
Thanks
Derek

Hi Derek, if you are referring to your question from 19.6. 10:37, please answer my follow up question from 19:23 on the same day and we might get a bit closer to solving your problem. Otherwise - if there are more questions, please ask. Cheers, Olaf ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. Re: Mailing list activity & protocols?Olaf
For some reason your reply never came through to my
mailbox - although I have seen other messages from you
(including this one, obviously!).
I will look for it on the archives & then post a response.
Thanks!

Re: Mailing list activity & protocols?Hello Derek and Olaf, I must admit that I have noticed some spottiness in the traffic: replies w/o an initial query and the like. I just thought it was my SMTPd or my connection. Anyway, this is a great ML supporting a great Blog software development. HTH, David.

Re: Mailing list activity & protocols?Personally, I have never been much of a fan for mailing lists, which
is why I set up the PebbleUserGroup.org Pebble blog. The idea being that common questions/problems are asked and answered/fixed once, plus we would be proving the technology by using it. I still have a few tweaks left to do in fixing my web hosting facility (one of which Olaf noticed, the Apache-to-Tomcat domain connector mixing problem), but once this is fixed, I should be ready to start adding users and we'll be in business. Scheduled fix time should be relatively soon on this BTW.
