MailServer using fetchmail,procmail and dovecot issue

Hello,

I've been scratching my head over this the last few days without any
success. I am trying to setup a mail server on my Unslung slug but am
currently stuck.

Dovecot is working properly and I can access my mailboxes via IMAP.
Fetchmail works properly accessing my POP3 accounts.
But Procmail is giving me a major headeache !

Currently fetchmail gets my mail and I added the mda command to use
procmail, but I can seem to tie the gap using procmail between
fetchmail and dovecot. My dovecot mail resides under the users dir
(/mailusr/mail). My fetchmail has this command at the end:
and wants mda "/opt/bin/procmail -d %s"

But I always get this ...
procmail: Lock failure on "/opt/var/spool/mail/mailusr.lock"
procmail: Error while writing to "/opt/var/spool/mail/mailusr"
fetchmail: MDA returned nonzero status 73

My .procmailrc in /mailusr is the following:
UMASK=007
$HOME/Maildir
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail/
DEFAULT=$HOME/mail/
LOGFILE=$HOME/procmail.log
LOG="
"
VERBOSE=yes
SHELL=/bin/sh

I have seen some suggestion using the DELIVER command:
DELIVER="/opt/libexec/dovecot/deliver"

But did not get much further ...
Could someone give me a hand, Im lost right now.
Thanks
Patrick S.
