Mac Users: Has Audacity changed your system wide audio settings?

We've a report of Audacity 1.3.3 changing the system default audio
device settings to match it's own.  This was definitely an issue with
the 1.2.x series, but personally, I have never had the 1.3.x series do it.

Has anyone else seen this?

Not for me, I am using 10.4.11 and I am running a PowerMac G4 DAW series.
I records quite well actually.
