Mac 10.4.7 Install Problems

Hi,

I tried to run the jahia.sh file to install jahia on a MAC and get  
the following error:

-- JAHIA Edition 4 Startup Script --------------------
Verifying environment...
Current directory is /Users/testd
Error : JAVA_HOME does not seem to contain a valid JDK installation

My JAVA_HOME path is:

echo $JAVA_HOME
/Library/Java/Home/

Any Help Please?

Hi Saadick,

You should maybe try to run the latest version (5.0.3).

Simply unzip the archive and launch the /tomcat/bin/catalina.sh run  
command.

Can you send us more information about your runtime environment ? OS X  
version, CPU type, additional JDK installed ?

Hi,

There might be issues using the jahia.sh script and Mac OS X. Try booting Tomcat directly using the startup.sh script into [TOMCAT DIR]/bin, this should work just fine.

Hi,

I got the same problem. There is no setclasspath.sh script in the  
$JAHIA_HOME/tomcat/bin and this is the problem.

Just get one setclasspath.sh from another tomcat install  
(tomcat.apache.org) and it should go :)

There is setclasspath.sh file in the bin directory but I just started  
tomcat and installed it successfully.
