I have already successfully used MPLAB and Assembly language to
program microcontrollers.
How do you use MPLAB to work with C code instead of Assembly code?
In case you are wondering, I've given up (for now) on using Damn Small
Linux to program microcontrollers due to dependency hell. (I was able
to get gputils to install properly but not gpsim. I installed
gtkextra but I'm not sure how to tell if it is properly installed.)
I'll revisit using Linux with microcontrollers at a later time, and
the number of options for this will grow in the future.
