MIDI CC binding not working in Ardour 2.5 x11 Universal Tiger PPC

Hi!

I can't seem to get MIDI CC binding working in Ardour 2.5 x11 Universal
on Tiger PPC.  I have MIDI patchbay installed and it's finding the
Ardour in, but the binding isn't working.  MIDI is getting to PD
however, so I know it's working there.  Any thoughts?
