MFI Open House Next Saturday - July 12Hi, all. This is FITZ, sales consultant at the MFI in Woodbridge. The
Motorcycle Factory's Summer Open House is next Saturday, July 12. Great deals, food, drink, and a stunt show are just some of the attractions. There won't be a wet t-shirt contest, but I'm pretty fat and work pretty hard, and I'll be sweating, so that should be the next best thing! I just wanted to give you all a heads up as to what deals might be had in new bike sales, as well as some unexpected inventory that Mark was able to locate and secure in light of the heavy demand for small to medium displacement bikes. And, of course, I'm asking that you consider giving your fellow list member and in-store promoter (me, FITZ) your business and your leads. We will be selling new in-stock (at the shop) bikes at invoice, with an as yet to be determined prescribed amount for freight and set-up. If anyone would like to know the invoice and estimated out the door costs of a particular bike or group of bikes, please let me know and I'll get it right to you. Working out deals in advance is encouraged. We were sold out of EX650R's, which really saddened me as a former Hawk owner and racer who still likes smaller bikes. When Mark found 6 red ones in a warehouse in California, I said, "Get them all!" This is a terrific bike. Upright seating position, fuel injection, modern sized wheels and rubber, out of the way muffler, vertical twin with great gas mileage, low seat height - all these contribute to make the EX650R a terrific bike for new riders, experienced riders, and commuters. The MSRP is $6,499, and it would normally go for $7,299 out the door. But, I'll sell it to all list members for $6,700 out the door, and maybe less if Mark authorizes it. If you want this great bike, I would strongly suggest that you get a deposit in place by calling me direct at (703) 244-6739, my personal cell. I've already got one deposit, so that leaves 5 up for grabs. We also managed to get our hands on a fair number of Metropolitan's, and expect a number of Ruckus's any day. Deposits are also suggested as these are flying out the door with the gas price increases. We are also getting some Ninja 500's (EX500's), which although a time tested design, is still relevant in this day of high priced gas. If you can't or won't go for the EX650R, the 500 is the next best thing, at a great price (low $5's). We also located and ordered some Vulcan 500's (EN500's), which are great for the vertically challenged and budget commuter. If anyone wants a VLX600, I might be able to get my hands on one, but I would need to get a commitment up front. Road Racing World's "best 1000CC sport bike ever," the CBR1000RR and the ZX-10 can both be had for $10, 900 out the door. I would not be surprised if the normal discounted $9,400 out the door price of the CBR600 is likewise reduced, along with the $9,100 of the ZX-6. If you want a big Honda (Gold Wing or VTX), or Kawasaki (Nomad, Mean Streak, 2000), now is the time. They aren't moving like the small bikes right now. Make me an offer. The open house will be a crazy day. I suggest that at a minimum, you contact me 24/7 to get your financing lined up in advance so that you can take advantage of any last minute deals. I'll be glad to help. I might be able to extend open house pricing to list members before the open house, which would be even better. So, give me a call at (703) 244-6739, and send me an email at this address. Again, I hope that list members and your friends would please contact me directly, as I continue to show my appreciation and support to the list in any way that I can. Best regards, FITZ (703) 244-6739 _______________________________________________ dc-cycles mailing list dc-cycles@... http://dc-cycles.org/mailman/cgi-bin/listinfo/dc-cycles |
