MD Grid Coordinates

I need to derive a set of Maryland Grid Coordinates as
Easting/Northing. The only information I have been able to find is
here: http://www.mgs.md.gov/esic/fs/fs8.html. This seems clear cut,
but while it indicates I am looking for a measurement in meters, both
the state form and modern maps still list the measurement in feet, so
I am unsure which (0,0) to use. We can estimate using a paper map but
I was hoping to use ArcMap to get a more precise number.

Any thoughts?

Mara

Multi- variable Symbology

I need to display some point features based on two variables.  I want to
use a simple filled circle with the color based on one field and the
size based on another.  I am using ArcMap 9.2. Any help would be
appreciated

Thanks,
John

There are several ways to do this depending on how your data is
formatted. The simplest method though more time consuming, would be to
use categorical symbology with multiple values. Then you can manually
assign the color and size for each value.
