Lyric Alignment

Hi all,

I have a piece that I have exported to LilyPond. In general, things
look good for printing.
The one issue I see is that sometimes the bar line goes through a
letter in the lyrics. I have tried playing with the left, center and
right alignment options in the export menu. This only seems to change
which letter or word gets a bar line coming down through it.
Is there a way to make sure that the word is completely inside the
measure. It looks fine on the screen in the Rosegarden notation view.
Things look a little funny in a Rosegarden print preview screen (I
haven't actually printed this piece from there to see if it prints
ok). In the PDF that gets created when I run lilypond, the file prints
exactly as I see it on the screen; with the barline through a letter.

As far as I am concerned, the score is usable. It falls under the "It
would be nice" category. If there is a quick answer using an existing
feature, great. If it requires some coding in RG itself, don't bother
until the port is done. You've got enough on your plate with that.
Some musicians who I know are perfectionists about how a score looks
and are much more bothered by it than I am.

Thanks.

Dave
