Looking for a list of sites

Hi all,

I am currently looking for a list of farcry sites to show some of our clients, with a focus on educational providers, especially primary/secondary schools and colleges.

Let me know about your site, even if it’s just cool and not really educational related. We just need to prove that farcry is a reliable solution and it’s difficult considering that we have not put any farcry sites into production thus far.

Thanks everybody

Joel

Hi

We have just converted this old site (2001-09-28) to FarCry. The site is most for ColdFusion developers and there are some tutorials on the site.

I am getting an error:
Element '' is undefined in a CFML structure . . .

referring to line 494 of core/packages/types/types.cfm

What I am trying to do...
- I have extended dmEvents
- I created an includedObj for a form that displays on the website
(not in admin)
- on form submission, I
        - create an event object (createObject -
application.types.dmEvent.typePath
        - set stProps for all form values
        - setData(stProperties = stProps)

What am I doing wrong that could be causing this error?
It looks like it is hanging on getting a 'status' value - but even if
I include this in stProps I still get the error.

thanks!

Does the same thing happen if you build and handle the form with formtools?

I had this "error" last week.

From memory, it was because I was creating stProperties using
structNew() instead of objFarcryType.getDefaultProperties()

Sifting through the code, you will probably find that it is because the
property "typename" is not set.

The simplest way is to use getData(objectid=createuuid()) - whenever you request an object that doesn't exist FarCry will return a default one with an extra property "bDefaultObject" set to true.
