Also, here's a little "treat" for everybody who is interested in CAN,
but not necessarily in J1939: The SAE J1939 higher-layer protocol allows
the collision of two CAN message with the same ID(!) during the Address
Claim process. The nodes, after having sent the message, are supposed to
check for an error and, in case of an error, re-send the message after a
"pseudo-random" delay. This procedure should prevent yet another message
collision...
