Did I miss the unfortunate news? The web page is now dead. What can we
expect?

Yeah, so it seems, there is a posting from SoftRomu that says so. I've missed
the new myself, and I wasn't happy to discover it. I still think this is one
of the best photo apps for linux out there. I'll miss it!

You can run windows version under wine. As well I was able to hack it
a bit and update to latest version (my base was 2.4). The only problem
is that 2 libraries are missing so it's unable to work with RAW files
:( and looks ugly as from versions 3.x UI is different.

Hey, there was a topic going on on the changed forum.
http://www.lightcrafts.com/support/forums/index.html
Choose "Tecnical" and then " Poll: Poll for a LZ 3.x for Linux, even a paid
version"
Personaly i changed software as a result of the way the LZ crew reacts towards
the linux people.

I'd like to know what the performance is like under full virtualisation,
such as VMware, Xen or KVM. (I'm sure Lightcrafts would be happy with
this, since it would mean buying a license for LZ under Windows.) When I
get time, I'm going to try this.
