LIferea can't read from news.ycombinator.com?

Hello,

I've noticed that Liferea(1.4.14) doesn't seem to be able to read from
Ycombinator's news RSS feed at http://news.ycombinator.com/rss
Nothing from the feed loads and the feed icons simply changes to the
broken wrong way icon.

I looked through some of the debug info, but I didn't see anything
that stood out to me.  (I'm also an amateur and not a very good
programmer so I might have just missed something)

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Is it Liferea's bug or Ycombinator's bug?

I tried subscribing with 1.4.16b and it works without problems.
