Komodo 4.4 install problems

I got the ActiveState Email about Komodo 4.4 version and tried to update.

I downloaded:  Komodo-IDE-4.4.0-20211.msi  (35.6 MB) and installed.
The installer reports version 4.4.0
When installed the executable reports (on mouse-over, file status)
:  File version 4.4.0.20211  (6/23/2008)

But when I run it, it reports itself as: version 4.3.2 build 17463
(built wed. apr 09, 2008)
The auto update from this version reports no updates. The Release
Notes are also for 4.3.

Why am I seemingly getting a 4.3 version when I expect 4.4?
