Which version of the Lasersoft software? I am going to be getting a Nikon
scanner soon, and I have been considering getting the Lasersoft software to
use instead of the Nikon scanning software. The problem is, the Lasersoft
web site is very confusing and they don't do a good job at explaining the
purpose or the differences between different versions of their software, at
least for me.
The Lasersoft website shows that the company is a typical "techie" company
that doesn't do a very job of "marketing." I think I know about this sort
of thing because I am a product management and product marketing consultant
and also teach classes in this area. If there was serious competition in
this area, either Lasersoft would improve or it would lose its customer
base. But there is no serious competition, so they have no "incentive."
Just my opinion, of course.
