| Subject: [Audacity-devel] Known Issues: OSS emulation under ALSA

I "think" I added that "Known Issue" and I that I got it from this text:
"OSS output is problematical, due to OSS emulation relying on
overloading certain function calls and diverting them to ALSA if they
relate to sound devices. Unfortunately Portaudio v19 for OSS uses a call
which the OSS emulation doesn't "catch" and so thinks there are no OSS
devices. A patch to fix this has been submitted to the Portaudio
developers for review."
which is on:
http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=Audacity_PortAudio_v19I am not sure if I also added that text to the PortAudio v19 Wiki page
or possibly modified what was already there, but the source of the
report is this message you sent to audacity-devel on January 5th:
