Keystrokes not shown until loosing focus4D 2004.7.3
Windows interpreted or built with engine Windows Vista Mac is OK I think this has been discussed before but I don't recall a resolution. A new record is created using ADD RECORD. There is a variable and a field that don't show the keystroke until the enterable area looses focus. The strange part is there are two contexts in which the same code is used. Both start from a button click on the parent record. In the context in which it functions as expected, the parent record has been loaded from the table. In the context in which the problem is displayed, the parent record has been created and saved before the button is clicked. Again, only on Windows. Any ideas as to what is causing this or what a solution may be? Re: Keystrokes not shown until loosing focusI had a case where a layering of fields on a form caused problems.
The same field, with different options. One was enterable, one was not. Only one would be set visible at a time. This caused my problem. Removing the layering of the fields fixed the problem. Re: Keystrokes not shown until loosing focusThanks Dave. I did check for such anomalies and found none. I think I might
just be stretching things as I open an input screen with the option to open parent input screen with an option to open a child (yet another table) input screen. I think it should work but I think I'll try spawning another process to do the last one.
