Once again, BusinessWeek.com editors have surveyed the tech landscape to identify the industry's most promising entrepreneurs aged 30 and under. We assembled this year's list with input from venture capitalists, our readers, and BusinessWeek editorial staff. Whose ideas and innovations are likely to make the biggest impact on technology in the coming years? The full list follows. We include the names of the finalists, the companies their ideas spawned, and their advice for would-be entrepreneurs in the midst of an economic slowdown.

It's widely accepted in the software industry that some programmers are much more productive than others. Many experts cite an order-of-magnitude productivity difference between the "best" and "average" programmers.

The young San Francisco start-up, which came up with drag-and-drop technology that allows even the most technically challenged to build their own websites, has now made it easy to add Google AdSense to those sites.

AdSense for Dummies? "You could call it that," said David Rusenko who, with Dan Veltri and Chris Fanini, started Weebly as a college project at Penn State in January 2006 to help their classmates.
