Hello everyone,
After hearing your voices, we have decided that our last sprint before the 2.0
release will be on the weekend from November 8th to 9th. I think that is just
about the right time, as it leaves us enough open space to fix last major and
minor glitches. Once again, KDAB is willing to let us use their office in
Berlin. Our agenda will be a bit different than last time, with the 2.0 release
drawing closer, but here's a first outlook:
Generally, the agenda is split up into two tracks:
1) Technical Details
- The user interface and more generally, interaction with the user, is not
perfect yet. A meeting is a good opportunity for this, even more so with
whiteboards in the room.
- Annoying bugs need to be spotted before we release them out into the wild.
2) PR/Marketing
This is especially interesting for Sebas, Alexandra and Inge, but anyone else
who's interested can join, of course.
We are still waiting for a formal promise from the e.V., but they will most
likely sponsor this meeting. Sebas will attend, and we already have his yes.
If you want to be 100% sure, though, you may want to wait a little longer
before you book your flights. KDAB also again agreed to provide food up to a
certain budget, and will sponsor beverages for all of us.
