K-12 Super 8 film processingI wouldn't be so sure about the impossibility of
developing K-12. Dwayne's is still cheerfully developing all sorts of Kodachrome
K-40 movie film, super-8, double-8, 16 mm etc. Check with them: http://www.dwaynesphoto.com/newsite2006/movies-kodachrome.html

Re: K-12 Super 8 film processingI spoke with them today and they do not offer the sevice.
Rockymountainfilm.com will develop the film but you only get a b&w version because the dyes are not available anymore for color. Also costly at $95.00 per roll. --- On Mon, 7/21/08, Michiel Hegener <hegener@...> wrote: > From: Michiel Hegener <hegener@...> > Subject: [Kodachrome] K-12 Super 8 film processing > To: kodachrome@... > Date: Monday, July 21, 2008, 1:31 PM > I wouldn't be so sure about the impossibility of > developing K-12. If you think that's too expensive, you can try it yourself if you like. Many people have successfully. It can be developed it as a B&W negative like any other, only your main problem will be the remjet backing. Read this thread: http://photo.net/film-and-processing-forum/00AEpD But if your film is important, send it to Rocky Mountain. They're experts at dealing with old film. If anyone can get images from what you have, they can. -- Fredrik Sandström fs@... _______________________________________________ Kodachrome mailing list Kodachrome@... http://lists.kjsl.com/mailman/listinfo/kodachrome |
