If so, Corporate Accountability International is looking for you. Corporate Accountability is looking for an Online Director to join our expanding Communications team and to build our online presence. The Online Director will be responsible for online outreach, web design, content development, and search engine optimization to further our mission and achieve our ambitious advocacy, fundraising, and marketing goals. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Direct our Online Program: Engage and manage our online activist and membership network. Creatively and strategically increase the size of our online activist and membership network. Ensure message consistency across all online platforms. Stay on top of new developments in online and web strategies. Oversee the organizations web work and draft web content. Supervise online team. 2. Provide Organizational Planning and Leadership Effectively integrate our online and offline fundraising, social marketing and sales campaigns. Contribute to organizational planning and strategy (including Communications, Campaign and Development Units) Participate in and provide leadership for campaign activities (be a committed member of our team). QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with and proven commitment to social justice and progressive social change issues. Experience in grassroots, community and/or political organizing. Five+ years experience in web site management and online organizing-outreach. Strong management skills and ability to work within a team, and between teams of staff, (who often have much less online experience). Excellent communication skills: writing, editing, and speaking. Excellent technology skills: thorough knowledge of HTML, familiarity with CSS and JavaScript; familiarity with e-advocacy software, such as Democracy In Action; Familiarity with server-side scripting languages (php, asp) preferred; Working knowledge of cross-browser computer issues. Ability to implement QA testing, browser testing, and troubleshooting code. Database and network knowledge a big plus Strong graphic design skills. ACCOUNTABILITY: The Online Director is accountable to the Communications Director. SALARY RANGE: $41,300 to $47,800 depending on experience, with a generous benefits package.
