Jazz Practice Tool

I want to make a practice tool in csound that will let me cycle through chords (held indefinitely) using a midi footswitch.  I've attached the csd file with the changes and a basic orchestra.  How would I go about implementing the right midi messages and score tricks?

Perhaps something like this ?
Using midi notes to trigger playback of chords, cycling through the
chords for each note played. You should be able to modify this to
accomodate any midi input message that your foot switch sends.
