Javadocs?

I finally got around to downloading JDOM 1.1, and noticed that the
javadocs are not pre-built in it.   Is this intentional?

Not that it is a showstopper; I was just wondering why downloaders
needed to build their own apidocs.

they're on the web... so that eases up things.
I suppose the interest of not bundling them is the size of the archive  
maybe...
