Jakarta Commons

Hello,
I've been under some problems when connecting to database, because I really can't find an appropriate configuration of versions of Axion+JDK+Commons.Collection+Commons.Primitives+Commons.Logging+Commons.Codec.

Can you tell me wich version of these components should I use in order to connect the database under JDK 1.1.8 (Personal Java) ??
