This may not be the best place to ask this question but I have seen a lot of good questions and answers here and I don't know where else to ask it.

What is the better solution JPA or JDO I have been using JPA but started reading about JDO recently. I don't see a really good reason to switch from JPA but wanted to see how others felt about these two specs.

JDO and JPA is like brother in ORM world, one idea 2 specification

the bold is a cool feature, why dont there are not exist in JPA?

and i see the JPA 2.0 is more Oracle Toplink push rather than function push

are another company is getting slowing down following US resession?

I had seen the comparison before and it was the bold that interested me.

It looks like JPA will be taking over for JDO and JDO will be left to the community and not have a lot of support from the larger companies. Does this seem correct to others?

Would others consider it for a serious project?
