Issue after checking out 1.8.0 with Eclipse

Hello everyone,
This is actually my first mailing list query, so forgive me if Ive missed something... I am working on a project that is using 1.8.0 of Grizzly, and I manged to check it out ok of SVN under the tags directory, and I also managed to build it with Maven 2. But, when I try to "view hierarchy" or references of any Java file within the project(s) i get the following error is Eclipse: "The resource is not on the build path of a Java project" I have searched the mailing lists and Google but to no avail as yet... I am using Eclipse 3.4 and am really confused here, any help is greatly appreciated and am looking forward to getting to know Grizzly. Thanks, Mark |

did you try earlier Grizzly versions? I expect it could be either Eclipse or Maven issue... I'm using Netbeans, but hope someone who has Eclipse could help you more. Thanks. WBR, Alexey. I do suspect that it is an Eclipse issue, as I have seen Google posts on similar issues but with different projects. I will give an older version a try, but I doubt that it will help the issue. However I have noticed some pros and cons my my approach, as its not perfect. I also found that there was a nice optional plugin for the m2eclipse (maven 2 integration) that allows you to "Check out as Maven Project" as seen here: http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Integration+with+Subclipse Which is nice, but the issue is that eclipse doesnt display the sub-project nicely, rather it lists them one by one below each other, which is a lot to look at and can get overwhelming... Not as nice as the netbeans 6.1 approach, but at least this way all the projects are able to be referenced, and can be managed easily, which is what Maven is all about. Hopefully there will be an improvement to Eclipse that will allow the sub-project in Maven to be listed inside other projects.
