Invisible bullets - anyone interested?

Greetings! I have a pretty simple idea for Tomboy, let me explain...

Let's say I have a bulleted list like this.

* Item 1: Write some code, it should look like this:

<Code here>

Description of code here.

Now, I would like <Code here> and "Descriptio..." to be indented, like so:

* Item 1: Write some code, it should look like this:

  <Code here>

  Description of code here.

My options for doing this currently are

a) use tabs -- not ideal because wordwrapping does not work correctly
or
b) use bullets for <code here> and "Description...". Then I would get this:

* Item 1: Write some code, it should look like this:

 * <Code here>

 * Description of code here.

This gets around word wrapping issues but it is also not logically the
same as what I really want because <Code> and "Description..." are not
really sub-items of Item 1... they are part of it.

Okay, so what do I propose? The subject said it: I want to be able to
hide the bullet for a specific item. That ought to be easy, right?
Replace it with a space or something similar?

I happen to be a programmer by trade, though C# is not my language of
choice-- is this something that could be done in a plugin or would it
be more obtrusive than that? Where would I start?

Thanks again for this awesome application,
Christian Betz
