Well, you've joined the forum, you're looking around, the first thing to do is to get to know people, so introduce yourself in this thread!
I'll start, shall I?
My name's Llin, I'm more-or-less a grown-up, my interests include writing, theatre, music, good TV and films, reading and making stuff. And of course, spending much too much time running this website and not enough on my Russian degree, which, thank Clom, will be over soon.

Well, um, hi. I suppose I am called Caitlin, and my age is the number between 14 and 16, and I live in th city that's going to have the 2014 Commonwealth games/
Incredibly smart and very sporty, I play defence on my school's hockey team and I also play volleyball, rugby gymnastics and dancing. My primary teacher says I have the gift of the gab, because once you know me I can talk for Scotland.
I'm also extremely obsessed with Doctor Who (old series) and the lady herself. I think she and Harry are just so adorable together.....:)
I really like 70's, 60's 80's and 90's music. Starship are me favourite band and the best song EVER is 'Sara' because have you heard it? It could have been written for SJS. However, Walking In Memphis ain't too bad a song either
bye !

Hi I'm Helen and...I'm really no good at introductions. I always feel as if I'm standing up in the middle of a room and I'm talking about myself and there are all these people looking at me and - I babble, can you tell?

Anyway I spend far too much time on the internet and even more time making graphics in Photoshop. And...I'm out of things that are even remotely interesting to say.

So...hi.

I'm Francesca, and I am fourteen from Brum (that's Birmingham for non-natives).

I like rainy days and mist and fog, and snow. I like the world around me, the landscapes and plants and the trees and the creatures that fill in the gaps. I like clouds and stars and wind and sea. I like wooden beads and bright buttons and bits of string. I like the whole rainbow, but I adore violet, ultra blue, yellow-green, sunshine yellow, warm deep orange and bright red. I like Doctor Who and The Sarah-Jane Adventures and Eastenders and Robin Hood. I like big dusty libraries filled with books and museums and old castles and mansions. I like indie, rock, retro and nu rave. I like beads and bangles and mad scarves tied around my ponytail. I like chocolate, pizza, fruit and cream. I like long coats and waistcoats and jackets and fitted shirts and tank tops and slogan tees. I like my friends, the people who make my world. I like writing and dancing and painting and acting and singing. I like hearts and stars and swirls and paw-prints. I like myths and the creatures that live in them. I like dragons and faries and mermaids and griffins and wizzards and soceresses and centaurs and pheonix's. I like hot summers nights and cosy winter days. I like shopping and reading and being crazy. I like christmas and the turn of the years. I like Cardiff and Spain and Portugul and Italy. I like masks and feathers and big rustling dresses. I like grandeur and mystique and history. I like grass and citrus fruits and honey and chocolate and baking.

Bassically, I'm a dreamer...

I'm paranoidangel and I am definitely grown up, although only in age.

I love Sarah and Harry together, they're funny and adorable. I wish there was an SJA for grown ups featuring Harry and UNIT (since it's never going to happen I can ask for whatever I want!).

I'm Stardoe,
I'm grown up. I love Sci Fi TV and old movies, reading and anything to do with animals. I have lots of animals. I don't live in the UK. SJA is a fantastic show. I hope they make more.

Hello, everyone!

It's nice to meet so many Sarah Jane fans!  :)

I am a 30-something American.  I live in the snowy state of Minnesota--it's currently looking very "Christmasy" here.

I've been a huge Sarah Jane fan since the early 1980's, when I first saw _Doctor Who_.  It's so nice that Sarah has her own TV series now!

The first time that I met the man who is now my husband, we totally bonded over _Dr. Who_ and the writing of Douglas Addams!  To make a long story short, we have now been married nearly ten years.  :)

During my university days I double-majored in English and Russian (Zdravstvuitye, Llin!), and in graduate school I got a teaching certificate.  I spent several years teaching English as a Second Language to immigrant and refugee children, specializing in working with people of Slavic backgrounds.  Now I'm a stay-home mom, but I still do a bit of tutoring here and there to keep up my teaching skills.

I have a lot of hobbies, including reading, creative writing, art and crafts (especially scrapbooking and beading), nature appreciation, walking for exercise, cooking/baking, and learning about cultures.

Besides _SJA_ and _Dr. Who_, my favorite TV and movie titles include: _Babylon 5_, anything by Jim Henson, _The Vicar of Dibley_, _Star Trek: the Next Generation_, _A Never-Ending Story_, _Willow_, _Ladyhawk_, _The Princess Bride_, _Voltron_, and a variety of anime--both classic and contemporary.  My favorite books include: _Briar Rose_ by Jane Yolen, _A Little Princess_ by F. H. Burnett, _The Color Purple_ by  Alice Walker, and all the Harry Potter books.  I love the poetry of Langston Hughes, Nikki Giovanni, Grace Nichols, Anna Akhmatova, and Yevgeny Yevtushenko.  I love the art of Frida Kahlo, Paul Cezanne, Marc Chagall, Georgia O'Keefe, Mary Cassat, Grandma Moses, Bev Doolittle, and Alexander Calder.

That's enough about me.  Happy holidays, everyone!

Haha, I should have read this thread before the previous one, because I just asked you if you spoke Russian...
Wow, teaching English as a Second Language is what I'm planning to do when I graduate!

Why hello there!
My name is Jade, I am 18 and I live in the North of England (whereabouts depends on whether it's term-time or not)
I currently study Theology and Religious Studies at university, it's great.

As a Sarah Jane fan, it was love at first sight, I loved her ever since she walked on screen in School Reunion, since then I have watched most of the Classic episodes and her spin-off series and now I love her even more. :D

I don't watch much else in terms of TV, but do like good books, tea, glitter and have an unhealthy fixation with IKEA.

Greetings,
I've been popping by this site for about a year now (on and off), looking up aspects of Dr Who and Sarah Jane.
I'm from Australia and part of my interest is in filling in gaps such a stories I've not properly seen since these stories were aired here in the '70's and '80's.
Here the ABC used to air Dr who every weeknight late in the afteroon and it was only much later that I learn't that the show was actually aired by the BBC every week, during a series.
(one doesn't realise that as a child).
So it was always a struggle to get home from school, get endless jobs done and find time to
sit down and watch the show, hence there are gaps in the stories I've seen.
Recent years have seen me seek out these video's and DVD's and sites like this help too in shedding detailson Dr who and Sarah Jane.
Good to see a forum about the place now.
I'm keen to learn of upcoming DVD's with Sarah Jane and I've heard a few possibilities mentioned  for this year.
Apart from that, I write about Mt Everest history and climb, enjoy cricket and '70's British shows ranging from comedies, science fiction and more drama .
Good to  see the site here flourish.
your friend, Phil
