Installing on Mac OS X

So I have a shiny new (refurbished) macbook, and I'm a bit of a Mac
n00b. I've installed Helma on Windows and Linux, where I didn't feel
much compunction about putting it wherever I wanted, but with this Mac
it feels much more like there's a place for everything and everything in
its place. Any suggestion about where I should put Helma?

Anywhere is fine, really. I often end up with several helma  
installations in folders on my desktop, which works fine, but you  
probably can do better than that :-)
