Installing Farcry (build 3058)... stuck on step 2.

Hi Folks,

I've recently joined the list, so please be kind :)

I'm attempting to install Farcry (Fortress?) build 3058.

Problem: When I get to step 2 of the installer I provide the database
details (I'm using MSSQL) - I can't get past step 2, the message is
"Your database does not appear to be MSSQL".

It IS MSSQL, so I'm wondering what to do next. How can I help debug
this issue?

In the mean time I'll start digging around for system requirements
doco and related bugs.

Just to clarify, in CFIDE you have set up a datasource for your MS-SQL database and that verifies?

This is the value you are selecting in the Farcry Installer?

Yep I do. Thanks for the prompt reply.

 

I've now got thru it - I was confused about the 'Database Owner' input box.

Once I left it as the default value provided, it worked :)
