Installing Cobertura in local Maven repository

Hi,

I am planing to extend Cobertura-Maven plugin and I have started with
getting the svn version of Cobertura to compile and install in my
local Maven repository (~/.m2/repository). Doing this I found out that
the pom.xml files present in cobertura/cobertura/maven/ibiblio are
outdated - they reference asm-2.2.1 while svn uses asm-3.0, which
causes failures during runtime. Are those pom.xml files
used/maintained? Who is responsible for deploying new releases of
Cobertura into global Maven repositories? (and a bit off-topic - is
Cobertura-Maven-Plugin tested against Cobertura svn version, or only
the released one?).

Regards,
