New Owner/Moderator needed

You know, this list would be a breeze to moderate. The members behave
themselves, the only problems come from spanners. Who ever takes the job would only have to make new members moderated, until they post a time or two, so that he/she knows that they are truly interested in oopic, then change them to unmoderated. New members who attempt to send spam, have their messages blocked, and their accounts removed or banned from the group. A younger member that becomes the Owner of the group, should appoint two other members as moderators too, so that the group doesn't come to a stop when he is on vacation or ill. As I've said before, I can not do it because of my heart condition. I may not last much longer. If you read Mike Martins post, he is actively working on becoming the new owner, and he has my vote! Thanks Stan. Sorry to hear of your condition mate. My best to you for
the future. I did see a previous post of yours with a reply from Dennis Clarke stating that a group getting a new owner is a near impossibility (sounded almost like a matter of policy!). Yahoo haven't replied to me yet so we'll have to wait and see - but Dennis' post back then doesn't bode well. I noted your post about moving the entire group to a new location. Might be an option if the spam can't be stopped. Be a shame though. Mike M. PS loved your site on the B-205's - aren't they just the best icons of old SCI-FI!
