http://www.php.net/manual/en/intro.ifx.php states that the informix
extension has moved to PECL.

Can someone point me to where it is, I cannot find it.

As there is no maintainer, no release has been done yet. You can find
the code in cvs:

http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/pecl/informix/
