Increasing Speed of Capture

Increasing Speed of Capture Hi, I have capture installed and configured to work with my Canon A640 digital camera and I need to capture an image from it every 3 seconds, but currently it can only capture images every 6 seconds.  Is there any way to speed this up?  Maybe with another camera?  I need to capture the images at this rate since I will be using the camera in a UAV to do aerial mapping.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

capturing takes so long because the images are not saved in the camera's
memory, but they are transfered to your computer. For aerial mapping you
would probably want to save the images into the camera's memory.
However, this feature is not implemented yet and, unless you implement
it, this feature will not be available in the near future. If you want
to do some hacking, let me know, I can give you some pointers. It might
be fairly easy.
