**I'm Unsure As To Whether You Allow Vulgarity - Most of my pieces include it so this is my disclaimer**

"She Took Her Own Life Because Of Your Inability To Stand Up For What Is Right"

She sits with her knees pulled up to her chest.
She shivers as her assailant walks by her opened bedroom door.
His shadow leaks into her room like a plague.
She picks at the scabs on her knees.
She’s praying that if she can deal with this pain she can deal with his pain.
He stands in her doorway now.
She feels the tears staining her cheeks and her night gown.
She trembles as he leans over to pull a strand of hair out of her face.
He whispers in her ear, "You’re a little whore."
She looks away as he grabs her face to look into her eyes.
She feels the heat rushing to her cheeks as he starts to slide off the strap of her night gown.
He wraps his hand around her throat.
She takes a deep breath and prays that she’d just die.
She prays that he would just remember she’s only twelve years old.
He strikes her across the face, "You little fucking whore!"

He kicks her crumpled body on the ground.
"You’re such a dirty little fucking whore."
She trembles at the names he calls her.
He zippers up his pants and walks out of the room.
He’s the best at pretending that he’s innocent.
She stands up and slams the door behind him.

Please, just kill me now.
This started four years ago, and I cannot take it anymore.
The thought of that man laying his hands on me ever again will kill me.
She rests her head against the wall.
I want to take my life.
Please God, make this stop!
Please God, just stop him from hurting me.
Dear God, please don’t make me live like this!
Daddy keeps his hunting knives in the bedroom.
Mommy keeps some pills in the bathroom.
Brother keeps some rope in the garage.

On the first night she took Daddy’s hunting knives and carved her deepest secrets into her wrist.
Rape.
A wound, that no matter how much it bled would never stop hurting.

On the second night she took Mommy’s sleeping pills and swallowed them.
All in hopes of <u>never waking up</u> ever again.
The next morning she felt more sick than the night before.

On the third night, she walked into the garage and took Brother’s rope and put her head through the noose.
This would be the end of the torment.
With her last gasping breath she cried

Please God - let me go someplace better than this.
Please God - I just want to be a kid again.
Please God - put him in jail. He shouldn’t be allowed to do this anymore.

She took her life because
Daddy couldn’t keep it in his fucking pants.
She took her life because
Mommy was too fucking weak to protect her own child.
She took her life because
Brother was turning out just like his father.

Three nights of attempted suicide
Couldn’t erase a lifetime of pain.

I know a lot of forums are anti vulgarity so I just wanted to put a disclaimer up. Should I continue doing so?

Eh, fer git da rules here hon, no need for a disclaimer for forums that have their own, this particular forum was developed for members of The Minion on Yahoo Answers LOL due to Trolls reporting our works even tho they were not "vulgar" there...so, we decided to post any thing here in the hopes our family will grow and if that happens, we'll just get a bigger forum
