How to use the erlang mode (ie:emacs) for large projects

Hi friends i am new to erlang . I want to know which is the best IDE for developing erlang projects . I had asked the same question in the orkut erlang communi.... Before finding this usefull forum in orkut i got the replay as emacs is best for developing the erlang projects . . . And my question is if you use the erlybird we can create the project by using new project option and the include folder and src folder and make file will be created autometicaly. . . And my question is : is this can be done in emacs . . . Please guide me . . . I am new to this erlang and to this forum . . .
