How to use "goal seek" and "solver"?

Hi everyone,

Where can I find the specification of "goal seek" and "solver", the new features of OOo3.0?

I've read the help, but I feel it's too simple. It would be great if there were some examples there.

For background information, it might be helpful to google 'Linear
Programming' & 'Excel Solver'. As far as I know, OOo's solver does the
same thing with Excel's one, so many tutorials for Excel's solver
would be helpful for you to understand the function.

But I still think it's necessary to add some examples in the help. It will bring convenience to the users.

Finally, I've found the specifacation. :-)

It's really a good ideal to post that message in calc and documentation lists.
I haven't subscribed calc & documentation lists yet. Have you subscribed them?
