How to install opie on Palm TX

Hello,
I want to see if I can get a linux environment working on my palm TX. I am an end user and thus if anyone has done this please post some thorough instructions.

I tried out openmoko but noticed two things. first and foremost it was  a bare OS and had no applications, second of all it would drain my battery in a matter of minutes. I saw the screenshots of OPIE and noticed that it had quite a few of the essential PDA applications that one needs.


I would greatly appreciate any help.
