How to generate tarball from SVN trunk?

Hi all:

I just checked out rrdtool code from SVN trunk (1511), and am trying
to generate a tarball.

I ran ./MakeMakefile, and then ./configure, and then make dist-gzip,
and this is what I got:

# make dist-gzip
make: *** No rule to make target `CHANGES', needed by `distdir'.  Stop.

Did I do something wrong?

Thanks in advance,

Bernard

Thanks, it builds now.

I am trying to build RPMs on CentOS 4.x and I had to comment the
following line from rrdtool.spec for it to work:

%{python_sitearch}/py_rrdtool-*.egg-info

I am using Python 2.3.4.

Cheers,

Bernard
