How do i get the output of java compiler error messages?

i am doing a simple application that will collect java compile errors and store these error in a database. i chose bluej (www.bluej.com) it shows one compilation at a time. i think this will be much more convenient for me. can you make a suggestion on how can i be able to do this? your help will be much appreciated. thanks in advance.

I don't think this problem has anything to do with Java ME or Java in general. The Java compile sends compiler errors to the console output so you need to redirect them, capture them, and store them in your database. This is dependent on the IDE and operating system you are using. You can probably build a little script in perl or something to accomplish this.

Ya it'd be great if, in addition to Throwable.getMessage() we had Throwable.getStackTrace()

Well, you can always add getMessage() and getStackTrace() to phoneME for debugging purposes.

i'd be content with Throwable.toString() just being the String that printStackTrace() prints
