hi, all

I build libopensync and msynctool on my box and try the instructions given by the setup guide at http://www.opensync.org/wiki/SetupGuide

However it doesn't work as expected. (output attached)
Does anyone has any idea about this?

$ msynctool --showgroup file
Group: file
$ msynctool --addmember file file-sync
$ msynctool --addmember file file-sync
$ msynctool --configure file file-sync
ERROR: Unable to find member with id file-sync
$ msynctool --configure file 1
$ msynctool --configure file 2
$ mkdir -p tmp/file/sync1
$ mkdir -p tmp/file/sync2
$ msynctool --sync file
Synchronizing group "file"
ERROR: No synchronizable objtype
$ msynctool --showobjtypes file
Member 1 has no objtypes. Has it already been discovered?
Member 2 has no objtypes. Has it already been discovered?
Group has no objtypes. Have the objtypes already been discovered?
$ msynctool --discover file 1
Discovered Objtypes:
        data
                Format: file
$ msynctool --discover file 2
Discovered Objtypes:
        data
                Format: file
$ msynctool --showgroup file
Group: file
Member 1: file-sync
        Configuration : <?xml version="1.0"?>
<config>
  <directory>
    <path>/export/home/Irene/tmp/file/sync1</path>
    <objtype>data</objtype>
  </directory>
</config>

Member 2: file-sync
        Configuration : <?xml version="1.0"?>
<config>
  <directory>
    <path>/export/home/Irene/tmp/file/sync2</path>
    <objtype>data</objtype>
  </directory>
</config>

Thanks in advance.

This bug http://www.opensync.org/ticket/721 should be the situation you
are in. Attached a suggested fix.

Hope it helps
