Having trouble getting Run Process in Terminal working

Folks,

I'm new to FreeRide and Ruby, but am fairly technical, so am not sure what
I'm doing wrong.
I am on Windows XP, SP2
I installed FreeRide after InstantRails, and installed it into the Ruby
directory created by the InstantRails installation.

I have edited the preferences and made sure it was running Ruby.exe in the
correct directory.
I have checked the "Run Process in Terminal" box, and did an Apply, then
OK.

Sometimes, it has actually worked and brought up a command window to show
the output.
Most of the time, it doesn't.
The Output window shows something executed and shows the "exit", but no
output. is displayed either in the output window, nor does a command window
open.

Please advise!

Regards,
Cris

Cris,

Although FreeRIDE is not as stable on Windows as it is on Linux I have
not heard about this problem before. I remember though that SP2 has
caused a number of strange behaviors with FreeRIDE. Also if your script
is doing IO and/or threads it doesn't work very well on Windows.

Could you let us know what your script is exactly?

Laurent
