Hardware Watchdog

Hello,

I am trying the circuit found on the following link:

I have connected LED indicators to the output (pin 3), and placed another to pin 5. This is to see if I can obtain blinking LEDs. When I powered the circuit up with 5V DC-power supply, the LED (the one connected in pin 5) didn't blink. But when I touched (with my hand) the negative terminal of the Zener diode, the circuit worked fine. The circuit did work fine also when I touched the casing of (or rotating knob of ) the variable resistor (potentiometer).

Can anyone tell me what is going on with my circuit?
Is there any wrong connection in the circuit?

Bluetooth Stollmann Module

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some assistance. I am using a Stollman Bluetooth Eval module hooked ot my laptop through a serial bridge to the USB port. I have read all the documentation and have been unable to find a driver for the software. However the documentation recommends using a terminal emulation program (ie. Hyperterminal) to runt he modules.

This I can do, I can query the modules settings, adjust settings, I can even set the device to bond with another. but this is where my problem starts.

I have a Motorola m702is, a slightly modified Motorola RAZR for the Japanese network. I can get the BT module and my Motorola bonded, however at this point, the terminal program (have used Hyperterminal and Tera Term Pro v2.3) stops responding until I shutdown the BT connection. I am trying a similar task of sending a pic from my phone to my PC and a pic or text from the PC to my phone. But neither works. I am a complete beginner to BT, so have been trhown in head first but any help is appreciated.

I have computer in the basement and I want to know when something happens - for example I have invitation to chat or Skype is ringing.
So, actually, I need some kind of sound transfer to some kind of wireless device what I can carry with me.

Walkie talkie would be good (cheap and in good range) but who will push the button when sounds come?
If it's always on transmit mode then batteries would be dead in few hours and I suppose to listen fan's noise all the time.

Is there some cheap device which I can connect to the audio output and it transfers only this output when it exists?
Or, at least, something which is listening for sound and transfers it to wireless remote receiver only when sound goes beyond some limit?

Hey guys...so the other day I tripped and broke my boyfriends laptop screen...we're trying to find the cheapest option. I found a website called www.screencountry.com the company is Screen Country. hi all,

I have done a Simple circuit(voltage divider, 2 resistance from 50K and 33K and a 10uf capacitor to avoid some noise) to motorize my battery through ADC.
The follow circuit maps the issue better.

battery - batt monitor - robot - DC/DC converter -- Robostix -> G_vcc _Analog input
(the " - " means that all are connected in parallel
the "--" is the 5v output from the converter
the "->" ADC where maps 3 pin ground,vcc and analog input)

Note: The battery monitor circuit connect to the battery, ADC ground and of course to the analog input.

Everything work as expected. My only problem is when i plug this circuit to the battery my robot switch on without being pressed the micro switch button, and remains on without being possible to switch off(only if i unplugged the battery).

My question is if there is a way to prevent this behavior?Can you give me a tip to solve with simple components.

Is it possible to map drive sectors to a directory?

fsck has revealed that there are about 50 sequential bad sectors on one of our network disks. Across the network, there are several users who have issues accessing only one directory on this disk. Solaris users are receiving I/O errors, and Samba users end up hanging (Samba is attempting to access only this directory upon clicking the drive icon). I'd like to see if these sectors are holding data from this directory.

Is there a utility that maps drive sectors to the location in the filesystem?

I know a sh1t about Linux but I don't thinkthat can be possible ... You need a concentrator for both to use a common gateway or router, a crossover interface is not a network solution it's just a direct connection. Who knows ? ... Maybe Linux improve that concept, damn...

Ntfs is faster and safer ,only problem is that machines prior to xp like windows millenium and 98 wont be able to access it as Ntfs can´t be accessed on a Fat32 machine but Fat can be accessed on a Ntfs one.

Is this BIN file the bootloader?
Once you click on "go", Do you want it to display on the console/hyperterminal?
Are you confident abt the built bootloader UART settings? is it working on another board?

You can check the UART section of your processor with the help of the JTAG. Set the baud rate, parity bits, stop bits and flow control settings and write into the TX of the UART register.

What type of Flash is it? Nor or Nand?

Since Flash is a Non Volatile memory, you cannot perform any test specific for the address lines of the Flash.
You will need to check on the Flash datasheet. There is a command sequence to be followed to get the Manufacturer Id and Device Id of the flash. You can do this using a JTAG tool.
If you get the correct MAN Id and Dev Id, you can be sure that the Flash address lines and Datalines are fine.

U-boot "go" command query

Hi ,

I have a copied an ".bin" file of an application into flash location "0xb0300000" of INCA-IP board from Infineon.

When trying to execute this code in flash by the command "go 0xb0300000" , we are getting the following
message on the display.

INCA-IP-ROM # go 0xb0300000
## Starting application at 0xB0300000 ...

After this message, the board is not executing anything else.

I'm working on a project where I have to Interface my TMS320F2812 ( DSP Processor ) with a 25LC080A ( 1024 x 8-bit organization • 16 byte page ) SPI - EEPROM from Microchip.

The current routines do a normal read and write but I'm faced with the problem of page wrapping. Can you give me any pointers or Sample codes that will show me how to overcome the same ???
