Farewell, 2007 - Can you all believe that it was a year ago today that Invasion of the Bane was gifted to us? What a year it's been for SJS fans! We really have been incredibly lucky!
Let's hope that 2008 brings more SJA, and more SJS wonderfulness!

I'm hoping for a second series to feed my renewed addiction. They are writing one but if it doesn't go ahead do you think they would novelise series 2 so us fans could at least enjoy the Sarah Jane Adventures for a bit longer even if it isn't on TV?

This year I got invited to a New Year's party full of Dr. Who fans, which was fun!  One guys there claimed to have the inside scoop on all the stories for the upcoming DW season.  He claims that there will be some flashback episodes showing more about the 8th doctor.  He also claims there will be a 4-Doctors episode with Doctors 7, 8, 9, and 10 joining forces for an adventure.  Please bear in mind that this info comes from some random guy I've only met once, so I don't know how reliable his scoops are.  But if they're true, then it will certainly be a fun and interesting season!  Well, it will be a fun and interesting season no matter what, actually--after all, it's Doctor Who.  :)  Sadly, this guy had no "inside info" on SJA other than "they will probably go ahead with the second season, but they don't know for sure."

I'm reluctant to get my hopes up too much, but I would love to see Paul McGann as the Doctor again. His audios are lovely, it's criminal that he didn't get to play the Doctor longer onscreen.
And multi-doctor episodes are always fun.

Apparenlty S2 of SJA has now been confirmed, according to the info in  my Dr Who club newsletter. Also Sontarans are meant to be in the new DW eps but  if they look like the one in the picture on the newsletter I will be sorely disappointed. I put a ring over the picture and viewed just his facial features through the ring and they are almost normal human features. I always thought LYnx was the best looking Sontaran. Very real looking and alien looking and ugly. Styre was very disappointing to look at. Too many makeup flaws. Lynx' makeup was flawless. But these new guys have nomral ears and normal, albeit dome-shaped, head and the one in the pic has top teeth. Nah!!! Not good enough.
