why not just find an open WiFi hotspot and use that method to connect and send/receive the files? Perhaps i don't understand the exact implementation. Re: Gumstix connected to cell modemIt can be done with ppp/pppd. I've successfully connected a gumstix
to both GSM and CDMA networks. Yes, it requires a paid cellular account with data support offered by all the major carriers.
