GreenlandGood lord Ed, pictures from 800 to 1000 A.D of Greenland? And when were
cameras invented? Retreating glaciers exposing stone farm houses and barns? Got a source on that? Let's see, Vikings were in Greenland maybe 1000 years ago and the glaciers were formed maybe 10,000 years ago? How (and why) did they build the farm houses under the glaciers? Not very smart if you ask me. Or maybe the glaciers flowed down and around the stone farm houses, leaving them intact so they would be exposed when the glaciers retreated. Who believes this crap. He has yet to show any pictures of the North Pole and Greenland in the years 800 to 1000 A.D. when Greenland was Green. Today we laugh at the name Greenland that the Vikings called the country. However, as the glaciers retreat, they keep finding stone farm houses and barns under the retreating glaciers. Al, is it possible that in 800 to 1000 A.D. Greenland was called such because it was green? Has he shown that during that time there was an ice cover over the present location of the North Pole? Al Gore is an arrogant dumb ass who does a disservice to us all. __________________________________________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe or for help with using the mailing list go to http://www.rhodes22.org/list __________________________________________________ |

Greenland - a reply to Captain Rob Lowe who was sailing in August 07Rob,
This has been discussed before on this forum, see: http://www.rhodes22.org/pipermail/rhodes22-list/2007-August/043534.html Which takes you to this article: http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=175b568a-802a-23ad-4c69-9bdd978fb3cd&Issue_id=%20 Of course he cannot produce pictures of 800 A.D., but at least he could present a honest and true history. And somewhere else there is an article about the archeologist excavating farms that have recently appeared from under a glacier in Greenland with Viking era artifacts and indications of a higher sea level, which is what Al Gore is predicting. But they did not have greenhouse gases in 800 A.D. did they? But they did have climate change! Ed K Greenville, SC, USA attachment: under+sail.gif under+sail.gif |

Re: Greenland - a reply to Captain Rob Lowe who was sailing in August 07Ed,
I guess the EPA and the White House didn't read this report. Both now "concludes that climate change poses real risk to human health and human system that supports our way of life in the United States," http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/S/SCI_WARMING_HEALTH?SITE=NCJAC&SEC TION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT -----Original Message----- From: rhodes22-list-bounces@... Greenland - a reply to Captain Rob Lowe ... [some call it political]Rob,
The point is not whether there is global warming. And, that man may be contributing. There is global warming and man may be contributing. This was obvious before Al Gore invented the internet. The issue is the extent that America can reasonably control the situation, and fair amount of the burden that should fall on ordinary Americans? Just look at the houses that Al Gore and John Edwards live in. Not exactly the same as yours. Look at Ralph Nader’s life style. He lives his talk. If you want to lead this type issue, it should be real, honest. As to the National Democrats opposition to off shore oil, how many gallons were spilt during the recent hurricanes? And big oil’s[?] leases in existence, first if there was really sufficient oil there, I suggest that they would have wells pumping. The leases that the National Democrats say are not being used; they are leases that already have expirations and renewals that if they are not used, expire. It must be concluded that some of Nancy Pelosi’s diatribe is just bullshit or she does not know the wording in the existing leases. Or worse, does not care.
