Glasgow Rangers FC - New Ownership & Management required

Having just completed the most uninspired, pathetic and nonsensical signing IN THE HISTORY of this great club i can only conclude that the current movers and shakers at Rangers have indeed run their course.

The Chairman has been winging it for some years now. I think Murray lost interest with the downturn of the Advocaat era and has been looking for a way out since. He clearly has no medium or long term plan for the club and must leave at the soonest opportunity. If any of our high value assets depart this summer (McGregor, Cuellar, Thompson) then there should be blood on the carpet (or at least on Paisley Road West).

Unfortunately Walter Smith is so closely tied to Murray the only conclusion can be that his time is up too. That i'm afraid also extends to his entire backroom staff, including Durrant and McCoist. Rangers legends - but if a non-entity like Kenny Miller is the extent of their collective vision then the show themselves to be collectively not up to the job.

Kenny Miller gets zero, zilch, nada support from this Rangers fan. It's time for Night of The Long Knives down Govan way.

rangers need a new rich owner. problem is, it seems there's not much money in the SPL. maybe wet wet wet will make a comeback then buy rangers.

He needn't be rich. A bit of vision, ambition and a plan that stretches beyond "now what shall we do this week?" would be a start.

For a side that was playing 4-5-1 last season we seem to be building up enough 10 goal a season forwards that we'll be able to go 0-0-10!!

Im about as inspired by our summer business thus far as Blackadder was when he went over the top of the trenches.

Reading the online rags today i was forced to do a double take and check the article was referring to Glasgow Rangers and not Kilmarnock or Motherwell. The players linked would be better served at the latter two, certainly not Scotland's most successful ever club side.

My only small ray of sunshine is everyone being linked with a move to the Big Jock Knew camp is thus far an expensive crock.

Rumours suggest a £3m deal is imminent, with us trying to use Daniel Cousin as a makeweight (who Fulham tried to sign pre-dealine in January but ran out of time), though apparently Fulham's interest in Cousin has cooled.

Ive a feeling Davis will plump to stay in the EPL if an offer comes his way. We'll see. He had a good first couple of months on loan then tailed off badly with the rest of the squad in March and April so the general concensus is the jury is very much out on him. To be fair his best performances came when he was played in his preferred central midfield role (funny old thing) and when Walter decided to try and use him as a winger - shock, horror - he didnt play so well.

See? I'm a little concerned. Even though Rangers' signings are fairly uninspired, I'm just hoping that we're not taking our league win as a sign to keep things the same.

That said ... Kenny Miller. Geez.

Well, it time now for Murray Bain and Smith to contact Job Centre plus.

Asset stripping, Spin doctoring, and creative accounting will surly stand them in good stead for jobs with Enron if they had still been in operation.

I shall be checking E Bay with interest to watch whether Murray or Smithers ( Bain ) place any of the silver wear on for sale .........
